Winter Flowering Narcissus

Species: N. asturiensis




Common Names: Daffodil.

Classification: Bulb.

Height: 8cm (3inches).

Flowering: Winter through to spring.

Usage: Grow daffodil at the front of winter and spring flowering borders or beds.

Grown in patio pots and tubs they make a nice winter and spring display.

They can be grown and make excellent end of winter and spring displays in window boxes, raised beds, rockeries, naturalised in grass.

Daffodil can be grown in most places in the garden, so enjoy them.

They are excellent as cut flowers.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!

They will also grow in partial shade but they will not perform so well.

Soil: Any rich, free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in summer or autumn.

How to sow seeds

By offsets in summer or autumn.
