Common Names: Snowflake.
Classification: Bulb.
Height: 50cm (18inches).
Flowering: Winter and through into spring.
Usage: Grow them in winter and spring flowering borders or beds.
This garden plant is ideal for growing in larger rock gardens.
Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!
They will also do well in partial shade.
They need to be sheltered from cold winds to perform at their best.
Soil: Any rich, moist but free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By seed in autumn.
