How to Propagate and Grow
Winter Flowering Bulbs

"Even on the coldest of days, even with a layer of snow, green leaves and colourful flowers can be seen showing off"

Winter flowering bulbs will certainly bring colour to an otherwise bleak, uninspiring and baron landscape.

Allthough you find yourself in the grips of winter there are still some spring flowering bulbs that have not yet quite finished.

Many bulbs that have flowered through spring carry on to early, mid and even late winter.

There are also some that flower in winter giving your garden, tubs, pots and window boxes both interest and colour.

So all is not bleak through the winter months. You can have your own winter flower show.

Even on the coldest of days, even with a layer of snow, green leaves and colourful flowers can be seen showing off.

You can make the most of bulbs that flower in winter by planting them in sheltered areas of your garden, under trees and shrubs, beside walls and fences and rockeries that are sheltered from bitter winds. Especially if they can be seen from your kitchen window or other windows you can see out from.

But you don’t have to stop there.

Grow them in patio tubs and pots and window boxes.

You can make excellent winter displays this way. And they will certainly cheer you up. Making the wait 'till spring more bearable!
