Veronica

Veronica originate mainly from Asia and Europe with some originating from New Zealand and Australia.

They are a large genus of perennials some of which are clump forming.

Leaves are narrow, oval and usually toothed, some are lightly hairy.

Flowers are tiny, star or saucer shape and borne on upright spikes or loose on tall racemes. The flowers of some species are borne on stems that have a tendency to trail.

Dwarf species are ideal for growing in rock gardens or patio pots and tubs and window boxes.
