Common Names: Comfrey.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 30cm (12inches).

Flowering: From spring through autumn.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Symphytum are excellent ground cover plants.

Grow symphytum at the edge of informal ponds.

Site: Symphytum prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Symphytum will also do well in partial shade.

Soil: Any rich and moist soil.


Propagation Methods: By division in spring.

By root cuttings in autumn through to early winter.
