Summer Flowering Dahlia

Common Names: Dahlia.

Classification: Tuber.

Height: From around 40cm to 60cm (15in to 24in).

Flowering: From summer to the first frosts.

Usage: Ideal as bedding plants.
Great for patio tubs and containers.

Site: Dahlia need full sun all day long. So choose a really sunny position.
Shade from winds.

Soil: Dahlias require rich and well trained soil.
On poor soils add well rotted manure at least six weeks, preferably ten, prior to planting out.


PROPAGATION Methods: By seed in spring.
