How to Propagate and Grow Solidago
Solidago originate from Europe and North America and are a genus of perennials. Some of which are mound forming.
Leaves are toothed and lance shape and lightly hairy.
Flowers are tiny, tubular borne on large tight clustered panicles.

Common Names: Golden rod.
Classification: Perennial.
Height: 30cm (36inches).
Flowering: From summer through autumn.
Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.
Site: Grow trhem in full sun, they thrive in it!
This garden ( yard ) plant can be very rampant and out place many other plants, so care is need where you plant it. You will need to keep it in check or it will take over your whole garden!
It can also self seed. So it could appear anywhere, anytime amongst your other plants.
Soil: Any rich but very free draining soil.
