Cultivar: 'Southend Seedling'






Common Names: Saxifraga.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 30cm (12inches).

Flowering: From spring through summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Saxifraga are excellent rock garden plants.

Grow saxifraga in the cracks and along the edges of informal paths.

Site: Saxifraga prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Saxifraga will also do well in partial shade.

Soil: Any rich, moist but very free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: From self seeding.

Saxifraga self seed profusely and are easy to transplant by carefully lifting them with a hand trowel and planting them into pots to grow on. Or transplant them straight to their final position where you want them to grow.

By division spring.
