Classification: Perennial (in milder areas only).

Flowering: Throughout summer.
Usage: Ideal for the middle to back of borders and beds. Ricinus makes an ideal specimen plant. Grow ricinus in large patio tubs or pots for a dramatic display.
Site: Ricinus prefer full sun, they thrive in it!
Soil: Any rich and free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.
