Pulmonaria


Pulmonaria originate from Europe and Asia and are a genus of rhizomatous perennial late winter to early spring flowering gardening plants.

Flowers appear before new leaves start to grow and are violet, tubular, borne in cymes.

Leaves are light to mid green spotted with white and are ovate. Leaves of some species are evergreen throughout the year.

These are excellent ground cover plants and will establish quickly giving an expanse of brilliant flowers and attractive foilage.

Can be slow to germinate, so be patient!
