Potulaca


Portulaca originate from many areas of Eurasia and are a genus of fleshy annuals.

Leaves are succulent and lance shaped.

Flowers dish shaped and close in dull overcast weather .

Species: P.grandiflora







Common Names: Portulaca.

Classification: Annual.

Height: 15cm (6inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal in borders and beds.

Look very effective when grown in patio pots and tubs.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: Fertile but free draining soil.
