Classification: Perennial.

Flowering: Non flowering.
Usage: Ideal for dry, shady borders and beds. Polystichum are ideal in woodland gardens.
Site: Polystichum prefer a shady site. Polystichum will also do well in partial shade.
Soil: Any rich and very free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By spores when ripe in summer.
By division in spring.
By offsets in autumn.
