Species: P. fruticosa


Common Names: Jerusalem sage.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 90cm (36inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Site: Phlomis prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: Any rich and free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germination temperature: 40 deg F.

Time from sowing to germination: 3 months onwards.

Germination is very slow, so be patient!

Germination is sparodic, transplant your emerging seedlings as soon as they are large enough to handle.

Do not disturb your remaining seeds when transplanting.

By division from late spring to early autumn.
