How To Propagate And Grow
Nierembergia


Nierembergia originate from South America and are a genus of perennials with a mat forming habit.

Leaves are fine and dark green.

Flowers are upright and cup shaped.

Family: Solanaceae

Species: N. repens









Common Names: Cup flower.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 5cm (2inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal as ground cover in borders and beds.

Well suited to growing, and look natural, on stone walls or at the edge of stone paths.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: Any moist but free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

How to sow seeds

By division in spring.

By semi ripe cuttings in late summer.
