How to Propagate and Grow Nerine

Common Names: Nerine, cape colony nerine.
Classification: Perennial. (In milder areas only).
Height: 45cm (18inches).
Flowering: Throughout autumn.
Usage: Ideal for warmer borders and beds.
Site: Acanthus prefer full sun, they thrive in it!
Soil: Any very free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By seed when ripe.
You must sow these seeds immediately after collection, this will dramatically increase your germination success rate.
Seeds that are not fresh have a very low and eratic germination rate.
Best germination temperature: 40 deg F.
