Species: M. armeniacum















Common Names: Grape hyacinth, American grape hyacinth.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 20cm (8inches).

Flowering: Throughout spring.

Usage: Ideal for borders beds.

Muscari are a must for spring flowering colour in borders and beds.

Grow muscari under trees and shrubs that do not create to much shade, for a woodland effect.

Site: Muscari prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Muscari will also do well in light shade.

Soil: Any moist but free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germination temperature: 40 deg F.

Time from sowing to germination: 1 month onwards.

Very slow germination, so be patient!
