Common Names: Monkey flower, scarlet monkey flower.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 90cm (36inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and as beds.

Mimulus are ideal for bog gardens or at the edge of wildlife ponds.

Site: Mimulus prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Mimulus will also do well in partial shade.

Soil: Any wet soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.

Time from sowing to germination: 3 - 28 days.
