Common Names: Golden spider lily.

Classification: Autumn flowering bulb.

Height: 30cm (12inches).

Flowering: Late summer through autumn.

Usage: Grow lycoris in autumn flowering borders or beds.

Grown in patio pots and tubs lycoris make a nice autumn display.

Lycoris makes an excellent cut flower.

Site: Lycoris prefer partial shade.

Lycoris will also do well in full sun if shaded from the hot midday sun.

Soil: Any rich, moist but free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed when fresh in spring.
