Common Names: Jerusalem cross, campion, Maltese cross.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 90cm (36inches).

Flowering: From spring through summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Lychnis are perfect for cottage gardens.

Lychnis makes an ideal cut flower.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!

They will also do well in partial shade.

Soil: Any moist but free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.

Time from sowing to germintaion: 3 - 21 days.
