Species: L. aeativum.















Common Names: Summer snowflake, snowflake.

Classification: Bulb.

Height: 50cm (18inches).

Flowering: Throughout spring.

Usage: Grow them in spring flowering borders or beds.

These are ideal garden plants for growing in rock gardens.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it.

They also do well in partial shade.

They will perfom best if sheltered from cold winds.

Soil: Any rich, moist but free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in autumn.
