Common Names: Lavender.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 60cm (24inches).

Flowering: From spring through summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Try Growing lavandula as a specimen plant, it is a great focal plant.

Lavandula makes a very good low hedge.

Grown alongside paths or by doors lavandula looks effective and its scent can be enjoyed.

Grown in patio tubs or pots it can be placed where it's scent can be appreciated the most, it also looks pretty good in tubs and pots.

Site: Lavandula prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: Any fertile and very free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germiantion temperature: 70 deg F.

Time from sowing to germination: 2 - 8 weeks.
