How to Propagate and Grow
Jasione


Jasione orginate from Europe and are a genus of perennials.

Leaves are narrow, oblong and hairy.

Flowers are solitary and speherical borne on erect stems.

Family: Campanulceae

Species: J. montana










Common Names: Sheep's bit.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 30cm (12inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal for rock gardens.

They are excellent in wildflower gardens.

Try them in patio tubs or pots for an intersting and effective display.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: Any very free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.

Time from sowing to germination: 3 - 21 days.
