How to Propagate and Grow Hosta
Hosta are native of China, Korea, Japan and Russia.
They are a genus of perennials which are grown for their attractive and distinctive leaves.
Leaves are round, heart shaped, oval or rounded. Some leaves are lance shaped which taper to a point.
Flowers are trumpet shaped and borne on racemes. Some flowers are quite attractive.
Very prone to slug damage, so protect them with environmentally friendly slug barriers.

They will also do well in partial shade.
Soil: Any ordinary, moist and free draining soil.
