How to Propagate and Grow
Epimedium

Epimedium originate from woodland and shaded areas of the Mediterranean and are a genus of rhizomatous perennials.

Leaves are lobed, divided into leaflets and can be spiny, or ovate and finely pointed, heart to arrow shape.

Leaves have attractive markings, mainly around the edges fading towards the centre, which change colour through the growing season.

Flowers are tiny, almost insignificant and spurred which can be short or long and are borne on open racemes.

Smaller types are excellent for ground cover in rock gardens and most shaded areas.
