Echinacea originate from the USA and are a genus of perennials.
Leaves are lance to linear shape or ovate and finely toothed.
Flowers are daisy like, some are reflexed.

Common Names: Coneflower.
Classification: Perennial.
Height: 1.5m (60inches).
Flowering: From summer to end of autumn.
Usage: Ideal in general borders.
They make an ideal cut flower.
Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!
They will also do well in partial shade.
Soil: Humus, fertile, rich and free draining.
Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.
Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.
Time from sowing to germination: 6 - 8 weeks.
