Common Names: Easter cactus.

Classification: Perennial cacti.

Height: 15cm (6inches).

Trails: to 30cm (12inches)

Flowering: Throughout spring.

Usage: Interesting and attractive indoor flowering plant.

Ideal as a Easter gift for family, loved ones and friends or as a treat just for yourself.

Site: Requires full light, but shaded from direct sunlight.

Maintain a temperature around 65 deg F. for flowering.

In dormant period maintain a temperature around 55 deg F.

Mist frequently to improve humidity.

Water very sparingly through winter.

Soil: Any good quality houseplant compost (peat based or non peat based is ideal).


Propagation Methods:

By seed in spring.

Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.

How to sow seeds
