Digitalis originate from Europe and North Africa and are a genus of perennials.
Leaves are oval to oblong, toothed and deeply veined.
Flowers are tubular to bell shape, downward pointing on erect racemes.

Common Names: Foxglove.
Classification: Perennial.
Height: 90cm (36inches).
Flowering: From spring through to autumn.
Usage: Ideal for borders.
They are excellent in wild gardens or woodland settings.

Soil: Any moist and free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.
Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.
Do not cover with compost, seeds need light to germinate.
Time from sowing to germination: 2 - 14 days.
