For a pure unadulterated pleasurable outlook grow them in window boxes. Especially kitchen window boxes, or other windows you spend a lot of time looking out of.
Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!
Crocus also do well in partial shade.
Soil: Any rich and very free draining soil.
