Corms

Corms are very similar to bulbs and are sometimes mistaken for them. But they are constructed in quite a different way. They have a swollen stem that is a food store, and it is usually broader and shorter than a bulb.

They can be propagated by division, simply cut them into several pieces. Each piece must have at least one active bud.

Cormels are offsets produced between old and new corms. These cormels can be simply removed and grown on.

Yet another simple plant propagation method for increasing your garden plant stock, more plants free for life!

Corms include beautiful garden ( backyard ) flowers such as brodiaea, colchicum, crocosmia, crocus, gladioli.
