Common Names: Foxglove, biennial foxglove.

Classification: Biennial.

Height: 60cm (24inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Digitalis are ideal for wild gardens or woodland areas.

Bees are highly attracted to digitalis.

Site: Digitalis prefer partial shade.

Soil: Any rich, moist but free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring to early summer.

Best germination temperature: 70 deg F.

Sow seeds on surface in light, do not cover seeds with compost.

Time from sowing to germination: 7 - 14 days.
