Bacopa


Bacopa originate from many parts of the world including Central and Southern USA, India and the tropics.

They are a genus of mound forming perennials with a creeping habit.

Leaves are attractive, dentate and spoon shaped.

Flowers are very tiny, petite, white and five petalled.

Excellent for covering areas of ground quickly.

Where to plant info

Use this gardening plant for ground cover in borders and beds, rockeries, indeed anywhere you need ground cover.

Where: This gardening plant is ideal for bog gardens or grown at the edge of ponds.

It has a creeping habit, so you will need to keep it under check or it may become invasive.

Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: They require very moist soil and are marginal, semi-aquatic.
