Flowering: Throughout autumn.
Usage: Grow nerine close together in groups of five or more in autumn flowering borders or beds for a real bold display.
Grown in patio pots and tubs they will make a nice autumn display.
They are excellent in cut flower arrangements.
Site: Grow them in full sun, they will thrive in it.
Autumn flowering nerine prefer a spot sheltered from winds.
Soil: They will do well in any rich, free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By seed when fresh in autumn.
How to sow seeds
Sow the seeds as soon as you have collected them, this will give you a much higher germination rate.
Old seeds may be slow to germinate, or not germinate at all.
By offsets in summer.
