Common Names: Naked lady.
Classification: Autumn flowering bulb.
Height: 60cm (24inches).
Flowering: Throughout autumn and into winter.
Usage: Grow amaryllis where they can be seen and enjoyed from a window, conservatory, or through patio doors.
Grown by the side of paths and driveways they can be enjoyed every time you walk or drive past them. Just the job to cheer you up this time of year as the days shorten and temperatures are starting to decline.
These plants make an excellent cut flower.
Site: Grow them in full sun, they thrive in it!
They will do best sheltered from winds.
Soil: Any rich and free draining soil.
Propagation Methods: By division in late spring.
