Common Names: Ornamental onion, Star of Persia.

Classification: Biennial.

Height: 60cm (24inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.

Usage: Ideal for borders and beds.

Site: Allium prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Soil: Any rich and free draining soil.


Propagation Methods: By seed in spring.

Best germinating temperature: 70 deg F.

Maintain seedlings between 55 deg F - 60 deg F after germination.

Time from sowing to germination: 7 to 28 days.
